AYT K M AYP CEY AΛEZANΔPOC AYΓ Radiate and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander to right; breast plate decorated with gorgoneion. Rev. EΠI M AYP ΦPONTΩNOC KAI AIΛ ΦHCTHC // BYZANTI/ΩN Severus Alexander on horseback prancing to right, about to spear a lion running to right below. BMC 93. Schönert-Geiss 1737 (V205/R392). Very rare. A bold and impressive medallion. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
